As promised, I have gotten it together and collected photos of skirts our Intro Sewing students have made in class. Take a look at these beauties! During the last four weeks of the eight week program, Intro Sewing students make a skirt from a pattern and fabric of their choice.
This week we’ve been finishing up a another session of IS. Next week we have another round of classes starting (check out the schedule for dates and times). Register online for any of our classes, and in a few weeks we’ll be posting your work here!
Have you taken a class with us? Two things: first, dont forget about about Free Studio Time each Wednesday and Sunday from 2-6; second, send us a photo of your IS skirt, or any other project you’ve completed. We’d love to know what you’ve been up to!

November Schedule
One of the things that never gets crossed off of my to-do list is posting photos of the Intro Sewing skirts. Each session our students each make a skirt using a pattern and fabric of their choice. The skirts that come out of these classes are amazing! Right now, we are all turning in our breezy summer cottons in for warm wools and harvest colours. I promise that soon we’ll post pictures of our students’ work (’cause they make us so proud!!). In the meantime, if you’ve got the fever, join us for our next round of courses. We’ve got Intro Sewing for anyone looking to start at step one, and Ready-to-Wear and Sewing PLUS for the more seasoned seamstar. We’ve got teens and kids covered, too!

177 and Counting …
Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to our t-shirt charity mission to Ghana! We collected t-shirts from our students and community and managed to collect over 177 gently worn and used t-shirts to distribute to the children and youth in villages across Ghana.
Below are a couple of pics of the suitcases, YES – SUITCASES, Denise took prior to leaving for Ghana.
